you must enable accessibility, to do it: 1. Open retroarch.
2. When your screenreader will say retroarch, press backspace, then press down arrow and press enter. Then press up arrow 7 times, then press enter and after press right arrow and it should start to work.
alternatively, if you have problems with the first method you can open the retroarch.cfg file which is located in the main folder of the emulator via your favorite text editor, and then you should edit first line:
accessibility_enable = "false"
to
accessibility_enable = "true"
and save it then, now it should start to work.
