There is nothing to feel there mate, that's a touch screen, and it's not a braille display. You should understand how the position of the dots is layed out on the screen cause that's the way you are going to work with the screen. In any way, you should have an idea of the organisation of the elements on the screen. IF you have a QWERTY virtual keyboard, you should be able to assume and guess where the letters are situated, and with practice the spead of your writing on the iPhone will improve significantly. Using the braille screen input, you will compete with sighted users if you can properly get a hang of it.
Then again, as I began to say, you should gradually get to know the layout or the rendition of elements on a screen of different applications you will use in a daily basis. For instance, the tabs where you can see different sections of an app are almost always located at the bottom of the screen, and the back button is always located at the top. Communications apps will always have an edit field which should be located somewhere in the middle of the screen and a send button to the right of the edit field. The keyboard is always found at the bottom.
