well not exactly, lol one type is something you find while salvaging and can be delt with easily, the other on the other hand can spread to other players or even planets if you're not careful
also as far as the rift drive, its actually pretty important because its the base of any expedition and finding new planets or clouds or whatever, so imo it really should be in the list
