I'd love to try the alpha.
One suggestion though before I try it: I know that you are talking about muds and technologies like that. and flash. but have you ever thought of doing TTS processing server-side? I know many companies, such as neospeech and cereproc, make solutions that would allow you to do TTS on the server, then play it (possibly using html5 <audio> element?) on players' computers. This would have the added benefit of fitting in with mobile devices, since it would reduce all speech processing on the player's end. In a sense what I'm saying is in this new "accessible" interface, eliminate all text, and simply do the synthesis server-side and send it down the pipe. Just a suggestion.
