hi waht I do is usually when I want to do a quest in a year, I do it right at the beginning of the year. if it Fails, I simply restore my game from last year and do it again till I complete it. that was a great help in finishing the Long game! I had try elmel's quest about 50 times, same with the humact and uralda quest. those are some of the hardest ones in the hole game, aspeacally because I didn't have any elmel or humact worshipers.
