My costumed vigilante's hero card
Hero Name: Stygian
True Identity: Stygian is only a hero at night. By day, he is an aspiring lawyer in the fictional city of Arkshore. He lives in a large house in the oceanfront suburbs and is highly respected by his friends and coworkers.
Powers: He was trained to the max in all known forms of martial arts, as well as marksmanship, endurance, and battle tactics. He has a genius level intellect, and is said to be smarter then most scientists combined.
Gadgets: Due to his great wealth, he has access to gadgets and weapons to use in fighting crime, and not just in Arkshore. He favors his Stygi-darts, pure black darts that are invisible to everyone but him, using special eye implants as well as lenses in his mask. He also has a grapple gun, capable of shooting nets if need be. His gloves are infused with a stell alloy, making them lighter but also packing a greater punch when it connects. He has also infused them with an alloy with uses tiny metal spikes with spikes c
oming off of those that can dig into whatever he touches, working for better grip, more agility when climbing and other types of combat. these same spikes are implanted in his boot toes and heels, giving him great agility. He also has Stygi-bombs, short-range EMP bombs which disrupt all electrical light in the room. If no electrical lighting is present, he has another form of these which releases an ink-like mist into the air, the oxygen in the air making it radiate light that is then absorbed back into the ink-like substance.
Costume: Stygian goes for the darker look, with a full helmet reinforced with Kevlar and the same steel alloy in his gloves. The helmet looks like the head of the devil, taking the idea that Hell's corners are in Stygian darkness. He wears an armored suit, the lightest armor available to him, which also is infused with the same steel alloy he uses in his helmet and gloves. He wears a relatively unremarkable black cape which happens to be indistructib
le, this he uses to stop bullets. His boots are heavy with a steel toe, but normal steel this time.
Other facts and origins: Stygian decided to take to the life of a vigilante when he witnessed a court witness be shot by a corrupt jury member. He decided to train himself to become Stygian and fight crime in major cities around the US, his major hunting ground, though, is Arkshore. He prefers to be alone, because he does not want outside social affairs to interfere with his persona as Stygian. He thinks if something pressing happens in his social life, it will deter his ability to think clearly in battle.
