Re: Putting saves on your ps3 accessibly, is this possible?
It is possible to place a save from a usb key on your ps3, however all ps3 systems start at different points when booted.
My slim ps3 always started on the games tab, but my super slim always starts on the psn tab.
Also, please keep in mind that loading asave from the net most of the time doesn't work.
Many game devs have made it where you can't advance a save unless you own it.
All saves contain an identifier that tells your system; and all others; what system the save came from, and no, you can't replace files inside a save to make it work on your system, you get a system error asking you to reload your save over and over because it's corrupted, until you stop trying!
The reason for all this crap is the trophies that games have.
Before trophies were created you could copy someone else's save, but not so much anymore.
some games just won't allow trophies, so if you don't care about them, be my guest, just be wo
arned.
by the by, copy is always the third choice from the bottom.
After you choose copy you will get one or two prompts.
You have to say yes to both of them.
