I sincerely hope it will be awesome in the end. And thank you for the valuable input, a bit of emotion in the narration seems to be the way forward then.
You have just put another question in my mind that I would like to put forward along with the narration one:
Do many current games have complex inventory system, such as item you can pick up a long your journey. I imagine a big list of items can become very tedious for the player to have to listen to, are they normally categories or kept to a minimum perhaps?
In my head I imagine a menu system you can navigate through to find what items you are currently holding, perhaps using two buttons to cycle them, the problem being if there are a lot of items, tehre is a lot of cycling through to do.
Any thoughts fro anyone on that?
Also regarding narration, I've always though a more low tone voice is easier to listen too, is this something others agree with or my personal preferen ce?
