@severe storm steve really the multiple turrets thing was only their for other players, since charging is purely client side and hents other players will not be effected by it, anyways who still uses turrets? And i've got some awsome news to report! The start of planet side mining has begun, and something else awsome. Ever tired of though's extremely annoying times when you tether to an asteroid, or a planet, and suddenly, the db gets rebooted, requiring you to redo your hole operation all over again? No more! Every time the db is rebooted, it now keeps in stock the items you tethered to the surface of your current object, insuring your deep space expeditions never get interrupted. Further more, the server still discards old items you've already picked up. Their was a nice idea severe storm steve mentioned to me over skype about missions where an object would be plunging strate towards a colony, i'm thinking these should be system wide events so instead of sele cting them as a mission, these happen randomly. If you don't shoot it down and get rid of it before it gets their, the colony is smashed to bits, shoot it down and you do get a credit reward. Though this system hasn't been implemented, do you guys think this would be a good thing to do system wide, meaning these events happen randomly.
