Building on death match a new beginning
Building in dmnb.
It is now possible to actually build buildings on a planets surface, using resources gathered from other planets or from that very planet. You can use b to bring up the buildings menu.
Requirements.
You'll need an artifact detector, and a hand held teleporter, it will shave about an hour off your building time running around the surface attempting to collect resources.
For this exampple, we will build a teleporter outpost.
These are actually quite handy as they allow you to teleport back up to your vessels in orbit.
First, land on a planet, any planet will do.
You must have the following resources, in order in your inventory.
First, collect 5 peaces of iron, you can do this by using your artifact detector and searching the planets wilderness for various resources.
Next, collect 2 rair metals, you'll need though's.
Once that's done, fly to a colony that you have probed or own, and land on it or
beam to the surface, either way works fine. Find a suitable spot that you want and press b. Select the teleporter outpost and done, you should now have the teleporter outpost all setup to use. Enjoy!
