Re: Life skills being failed by the tasc test and common core
Hi,
I can't answer that question because Maths is not my strongpoint. However, the school should really help. In my school I am being encouraged to do things indipendently and people are trying to find things for me to do such as outside school activities. Don't you have something like a TA? In England that stands for Teaching Assistant. Basicly they help students with special needs. If something needs to be read out in print, and the student does not have the brail, they'll read it to them. They would go as far as to organise the students books or send them emails with work to complete or sheets to read in class. I have multiple. They should be trained in brail and how to help you visually. If not, you might want to look into getting some DVDS or employ someone to teach you necessary life skills.
Hope this helps.
