What the noodle is the point of "white cane day?" is it a publicity or awareness thing to raise money for organizations like the Guide dog week in britain a couple of weeks ago?
Yes I've used a white cane sinse the age of eleven, though right now my black dog is much preferable, although I still do use my cane on occasion such as when taking reeever for an off harnice walk.
Still, just because I use the thing I'm not exactly sure why it would need to have a day dedicated to it, what next, the festival of glassover where we all celibrate the waring of spectacles? Or maybe we could have a chairety day for the praising of wheel chairs, or perhaps for all the yankies, a festival of thanks kidney where we all can celibrate the wonders of the dialasis machine?
Well maybe I should save this littel debate for next crutchmas? .
