Don't know if your 'dealer down the road' is Grahams, but they do B&W as
well as Linn and the Gallo stuff.  KEF and Sonance products are
generally well thought of too.  IIRC the Gallo stuff is quite
expensive.

I built some dedicated SqueezeBox amps for an installation I did
http://www.at-view.co.uk/installations.htm.  They're 'chipamp' based,
single input; with no controls to play with, and they can be hidden
away fairly easily (even in the ceiling I reckon).  I could do one for
about £150 depending on the case it goes in.  There's a lid off photo

I've actually used one to drive a pair of Isobariks, and it works
really (surprisingly) well!
