Do you hear tiny clicking sound between the soungs with continuous
recordings (like live ones)? I reported that as a bug a while ago.
I also notice very short segment of first part of song cut off with
Apple lossless (probably this is causing the clicking noise between
noise). You will not notice this unless the song starts without any
room at the beginning.
I switched to AIFF and it has been fine but a few days ago I started
to hear popping noise between songs for some recordings. I'm
wondering if this related to the latest itune update (before the 6)
or relating to the particular CDs. Also, I hear popping noise
between songs with WAV files. I use power mac G5 with itunes.
