Rest of my PSU parts arrive tomorrow so I should have a working linear supply by Thursday. I will then do a comparison but in the interest of fairness I will use my resident 'Golden Ears' - my wife. No interest in technology but she does have the ears of a bat. I can put her in front of a system, tweak it and get an instant answer which tends to be in the categories of "better", "worse", "can I go now"!
