I hope you're not a hard-core tweaker.  Or maybe I should say I hope
you are.  Several years ago I looked up the op-amps that are used in
the thing to see if it might benefit from more up-to-date parts.  I
don't recall the part number but I do recall that they were some TI
parts that used a non-standard pinout.  If you want to do that sort of
tweaking, you'll have to make some socket adapters to convert standard
pin-out parts to the weird pinout used in the C-9.

Don't pay too much for the C-9.  The Behringer units are supposed to be
pretty good, and they don't cost that much.
