Once I get the chance to listen to the SB3 in depth, I'll get a feel for whether it sounds better than my current CD player, which is an inexpensive, but good sounding Denon. It's possible, I may decide to remove the CD player from my system.
I think the separation is good, better than my CD player. Does anyone else think the highs are rolled off?
