Sorry to admit I must edit my advice. I believe you want to have 'drive is c2 capable' UN-checked.
The tutorial in question is flawed, nonetheless, in that it says to leave 'drive caches data' unchecked, which is wrong. This must be checked, if supported, so EAC can defeat it. If you want bit accurate rips, check the box for cache, but leave c2 unchecked. (your rip times may quadruple with c2 unchecked, that's a good thing!)
