My only suggestion would be don't put the amp in the wall. Maybe you
could put a higher quality unit in an adjacent pantry, with a RCA wall
plate to connect the devices between the walls.

The amp you suggested [1] appears to be a headphone-jack input only
(iPOD). Those two RCA jacks say audio 'out'... It's also designed to be
plugged into a kitchen outlet- so you'd have a lot of wires strung about
in any case. I think you can do better for $300, but I'm sorry I don't
have any specific suggestions....
