The amp you suggested [1] appears to be a headphone-jack input only (iPOD). Those two RCA jacks say audio 'out'... It's also designed to be plugged into a kitchen outlet- so you'd have a lot of wires strung about in any case. I think you can do better for $300, but I'm sorry I don't have any specific suggestions.... ....other than to have fun.
