I upgraded the NAS ram to 1GB and disabled statistics. Approximately 400 GB of files, scan completes in under 1 hour, scheduled for early AM. SlimServer response is sluggish via the Squeezebox remote, but certainly usable. I am able to stream to several SBs simultaneously, without gaps.
