His comparison is basically worthless because his evaluation methodology is flawed. There are no controls in place. If someone subconciously thinks that they will hear a difference, then they usually will. Our mind is by far the greatest variable in listening evaluations. I get a kick of of audiophile quotes like this one. It basically quantifies nothing.
