Well, for what it is worth, I retired my Musical Fidelity A3.5 CD player - going via MF X-DAC V3 with X-PSU V3 - in favour of the SB3 (using the same DAC and power supply downstream). Results are at least as good or possibly better for me. Assumes all music ripped to lossless of course.
