I heard a pair of Lowthers once and couldn't figure out what all the hoopla was about. I've never been a tube fan. I HAD heard a couple of JBL single driver designs that were pretty good back in the day. The A8 (95 [EMAIL PROTECTED]) owners out there are powering them with everything from flea sized tube amps, 6 watt class D, and me, the other extreme, 300 watt solid state monoblocks. I'm sure everyone's tired of me posting about them
