I find CDex and FlacFrontEnd a lot easier to
explain and setup than EAC.
I think CDex will do direct flac compression just
as EAC does.
EAC is at best user hostile.
For a long time, I used CDex and only used EAC when my listening
identified problems. It was just so much easier.
