The change to 16.16 floating point volume was made in firmware (FW22)
to allow finer volume contriol resolution and a log volume control.

The volume coefficients were subsequently modified in the 6.2.2
nightlies to eliminate any rounding errors using 'new' 16.16
coefficients with 16 bit audio data, for volumes greater than -30dB.
