I too am skeptical of audophile placebo effect, however, I know my amps and speakers well, and have a lot of different sources I've used with them, and they are currently lacking magic with the squeezebox. I'm going to drag up a good DAC and see how that sounds with it.
I don't want to send the SBox to that Bolder Cable guy, for I just don't buy all this ByBee 'quantum filtering' to create 'holographic imaging' and all that mumbo jumbo.
