i agree with the conveyance of the sb in the end thats why i traded the cyrus cd7q for the dac x but am finding the sb2 a little bright and lacks the warmth of the cd player can`t really tell to much difference at moderate listening levels but when you crank it up its there. don`t get me wrong the sb is a great piece of kit for the money i`m not knocking it in any way just want it to be as good as the cd player so have orderd the psu + full mods from boulder so will let you know results although there is a 8 week waiting list
