Tyler has the right idea. You have what is commonly known as a ground loop. What you need to do is to isolate which component is introducing the loop and eliminate it. Typically, your cable for cable tv is the biggest culprit. Can you keep everything together and then unplug the cable from the back of your receiver? Does the hum go away? If so, you need to get what Tyler described - an isolation transformer - Jensen makes some of the best, but they are pricey ~$100. Look here for more info:
