Ah, piano. Some great stuff has already been mentioned.
On the modern and smooth jazz front, Brian Culbertson is about as sharp as you can get. Seldom solo, though. Pieces of a Dream also have some solo pieces, but cross over into R&B with regularity. On the experimental front, you have Omar Sosa. Several solo pieces. You either love his style, or you hate it. He mixes in classical elements in a while. Danilo Perez also makes some great stuff. Mulgrew Miller has several pristintely recorded albums. -- pablolie ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pablolie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20611 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
