I stumbled across a little find at Price Club (Costco). RCA has contracted a company called Soundmirror to remaster some or their famous "Living Stereo" recordings from the 50's and early 60's. The original recording techniques and the process used to remaster them are detailed in the liner notes, so I won't repeat that information here, but suffice it to say that for 50-year-old recordings, they sound amazing.
These are hybrid SACD/CD discs. Price Club is selling them for $7.49!
