------ Not true anymore, Sony's walkman use Atrac3 AND MP3 now, I got the NW-HD5 30gb and the g/f has 20gb NWA3000, both are cracking machines and sound great. I do not download tunes from Sony's site though, for the same reason as Itunes, what's the point for of saving a couple of quid just to download inferior quality, just get a Cd. Software is not brilliant, Connect is useless, Sonicstage is better and easy to use and works on both, Itunes is better though, but I did not want to join to Isheep flock......never mind that those white headphones are a thief magnet!
