Ralph, I generally don't bother with my vinyl - most of it is available on CD. However, I did have a couple of old Steve Tilston [1] lps that I wanted to convert to digital. I sent them away to Pristine Audio [2] to get ripped. It's not cheap - £30 per disc - but the results are excellent, and I consider it great value for those "must have" vinyl transfers. So, in summary, I would recommend you replace your vinyl with CD where available and if you have any discs you can't get on CD and can't live without, send them to Pristine Audio. R.
