FWIW... I'm running 76,000+ songs and SlimServer is working for me. XP, SS 6.2.1, SQLite, AMD Duron 1.4, 1.5GB RAM, 500GB.
Unfortunatly, when I add music, I have to do a full RESCAN for it to "take". This takes about 6+ hours. (OUCH!) I tried to change over to mySQL, but I couldn't figure it out, so I 'm just waiting for 6.5, which I've heard will have mySQL installed by default. Peace, G. p.s. I also have MusicMagicMixer working with SlimServer. Very cool! And really the ONLY way to discover new music when you have this many songs.
