I agree with ModelCitizen. I was using my modded Rotel CDP (with a Superclock & BG Caps upgrades) as a transport before going for the SB3. The sound of the SB3 with my DPA DAC sounds "clean" compared to the Rotel CDP. I 'm using the stock PS for the SB3 & I have just ordered Bolder's PS which I hoping will put the "warmth" back into the music.
