Even if you can hear it, how many times can you play it before the cartridge grooves thru like a plow and filters the ultra sonic frequencies forever? I assume that P Floding is talking about musical signals that contribute to the sound, and not just frequencies from pops and surface dirt. I'm too old to care much about signals over 20kHz. I could believe that there are inter modulation distortions that have impact in the audible range. -- Pat http://www.pfarrell.com/music/slimserver/slimsoftware.html _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
