Of course an SMPS is ok for charging your cellphone, but what's that got to do with this conversation? Thinking SMPS's are bad for all applications is not audiosnobbery, it's stupidity. Why state the obvious? Surely you weren't advocating thier use in audio electronics? So I'll ask again, what is your point- in relation to the topic at hand. Are SMPS's bad for the SB? Have you hooked a good regulated linear one up to it?
