I have high concentration isopropanol for cleaning capstan rolls and the like, but not for contact cleaning. It has water in it, so seems less than ideal. BTW, using -only- a cleaner, such as the "60" I mentioned, will increase the surfaces tendency to be abrasive (no lubrication) so may be detrimental in the long run. Good luck with the cleaning, and let us know your findings!
