As I suspected, I can detect no difference with the WAV conversions checked or unchecked. As I understand the menu, they would only affect playback of WAV files, not FLACs. Regardless, I've done a few more hours of listening and everything has settled in beautifully. The sound is now -awesome.- Color me happy!
