I was going to suggest maybe replacing the speakers with a 2.1 system like the Mirage Omni series of small, omnidirectional satellites, coupled with a sub.
That would allow you a lot more flexibility in placement and even if you didn't have strictly identical conditions for the L and R speakers, the omnidirectional factor might help compensate for the different operating environments. The Aegis speakers are pretty nice, though. Maybe it would be worth trying to augment the Aegis 3s with something like the Mirage Omnisat Micro. You might be able to place those in the corners of the room to bring some width and depth to the soundstage. -- Pale Blue Ego ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Pale Blue Ego's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=110 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22717 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
