Google "LED noise", and you'll see how it's theoretically possible. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean the effects are audible. However, I believe anyone who tells you that LED noise is significant is more concerned with marketing than engineering. It seems to me there are dozens of other more significant things to worry about rather than LED noise. Assuming almost every other part of the design is perfect, then go chase after LED noise.
