Hi all. I have my (favorite new gadget) SB3 in my living room and am looking to install a pair of Polk Audio RC85i in-wall speakers with a wall-mounted volume knob. I'm looking for recommendations for an amp that would be suitable in the <$600 range.
I'd like either a very small-profile amp that the SB3 can sit on top of and be wife-friendly on the aesthetics, or else a rack-mount amp in my A/V rack down in the basement like an AudioSource M200 If I put the amp in the basement, I'm worried about signal loss running the RCA cables the 75 ft. or so to the rack. Do I need to be? If so I could run fiber, but what would be a decent but simple DAC that would work well? Looking for suggestions. Thanks, Mike -- merc4a2 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ merc4a2's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1230 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23571 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
