Unfortunately, the sub I'll most likely get has a mono input, which means I need to join the channels in some other fashion than simply using a y-connector. Ys are good for splitting, not so good for joining. I forgot to mention one other plus for the new receiver -- it has one of those electronic volume controls -- you know, the kind with the knob that turns infinitely. Right now, my boys sometimes fiddle with the volume knob when the stereo is off. I have to remember to always check its position before I turn the unit on, lest I be showered with speaker fragments. -- jonheal Jon Heal says: Have a nice day! http://www.theheals.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jonheal's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2133 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23912 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
