I had read the comments about the DAC1 being a very analytical sounding product but still came close to buying it. At the same time I saw posts related to the SB+ and following a dialogue with Patrick Dixon I dived in and bought one. It has added an octave to the bottom end of the system relative to the SB2 as well as getting shot of the sibilance and lack of detail at the top end of the standard product. If anyone can afford the DAC1 and dont need it for other appllications I would suggest they include the SB+ on their short list.
