Well, you could always get an audiophile fuse for $30 (sorry, i don't
have a link to a supplier). Then you'd have to get an audiophile fuse
holder too, or hard wire it. I may try hardwiring a $2 ceramic fuse-
out of curiosity.

Does the Power One need an output fuse? I'm pretty sure it has over
voltage protection, and the SB has a fuse of it's own AFAIK.

I don't disagree that it could possibly make a difference to leave the
mains fuse out, but at what cost to safety?
