Thanks for the answers! It seems like there's an unanimous vote to move the speakers. I'm going to work with that during the summer vacation and perhaps put some absorbing material behind the speaker as well.
nelamvr6: You ask what kind of speaker cable I use (I don't really understand what you mean by "chicken wire" - bad? thin?). I had a look and I use JenTech Sky 1.6 sq mm. It's the same as the ones in these pages http://tinyurl.com/fn5ob http://www.supracables.co.uk/trade/3-trade-status.htm but thinner. JJZolx: You are correct. It's a quite hard room, with plaster walls, oak floor, wood furniture and no curtains or carpets. Only one soft sofa and one soft armchair. The house has quite big open spaces and the room next this room has a stone floor. I guess that is something I could work with as well - softening the room. Not as fun as buying a new gadget ;-D, but cheaper and probably with great results. -- TCM http://www.last.fm/user/ThisCharmingMan/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ TCM's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=702 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24245 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
