Just an update: First, I wanted to again thank everyone here for their help. This is one of the best forums I have ever read.
I went to a not so local (5 hours away)hifi shop (http://www.lettherebesound.com/index.html)and auditioned both the Cyrus 8vs and the Naim Nait 5i. To my ears the Nait blew the Cyrus out of the water. It is a little bright (but it is also brand new),but from what I read, it takes upwards of 200 hours to fully break in. I will check back when everything is burned in a bit. The choice went to the Naim Nait 5i I also spent quite some time telling Oz (the owner)all about the Squeezebox, including showing him the website. I just wanted to thank everyone for being a HUGE help. Also to thank Oz at Let There Be Sound in Plantation, Florida. He let me decide...by not suggesting a billion different options (what a concept (sarcasm)) He is highly recomended.
