I actually do have a loyalty, to Seagate. I've been buying drives for a long time, and have long ago given up on WD. Maxtor aren't bad but they're very noisy, the Samsung's are pretty good though. But Seagate are quiet, large, often discounted and have a 5 year warranty (none of the others do for ATAPI drives AFAIK).
