Yes, your summary is about what I concluded also. It's too bad Slim doesn't make a "high end" SB for a hundred or two more, let's say upgrading everything in the digital path of the SB to top parts or even a fully digital SB with no analog so that the SB would become THE digital transport on the market, no CDP transport being able to best it.
