I've had both a decent pair of Grados and currently use Sennheiser HD600s. They both sounded great, but after 45min of using the Grados the edges of my ears were raw. The Sennheisers are like like wearing fluffy bunny clouds on your head, and they sound amazing. I use them for monitoring purposes, so I wanted 'phones that gave the most accurate sound -- Sennheiser HD600. The Grados definitely emphasized the high and low end frequencies, but they were not their top 'o the line.
Regardless, go to http://www.headphone.com (Headroom) and get them there. It's cheaper and they give some nice reviews (sometimes not in their best interest) of the heaphones. They also make some nice headphone amps. -- bathyscaaf ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bathyscaaf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5965 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24251 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
