Oh I think it looks and sounds a mess. Communication via a switchbox is going to give you miles of CAT5. We're all Wifi now remember, who want horrible cables. Yuk. A 16 page brochure and yet if you read it carefully it doesn't offer much more functionality than a SB3. I particularly liked:
"Now with Naim Multi-server Sync any of your Servers can maintain contact and synchronise their contents even in different homes, or on the yacht." Not having syncronised music on my yacht has really been bothering me lately. There's not much info on file formats either, only that it doesn't support DRM (which it erroneously calls AAC) because apparently you don't want AAC on your iPod, only MP3. Twits. There's clearly some networking and digital expertise at work, but, y'know, no thanks. -- GeeZa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ GeeZa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5563 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24901 _______________________________________________ audiophiles mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/audiophiles
